Privacy Policy
This policy covers the video game Kharvalen and this website (kharvalen.com). Last updated: August 27, 2026.
Who is responsible
Kharvalen is developed by Lisarde, an independent developer. For any privacy question, or to exercise your rights, write to lisardestudios@gmail.com.
Game telemetry
The game sends gameplay telemetry to Unity Analytics (a Unity Technologies service): gameplay events (run progress, content used, performance), an installation identifier and technical device data (hardware, operating system, language). It does not include your name or contact details. It is used solely to balance and improve the game.
Telemetry is enabled by default, and the game tells you so on first launch. You can turn it off at any time in Settings → Privacy: the game stops sending data and, from that same screen, you can also request deletion of what was already sent.
Multiplayer
In co-op and PvP matches, your IP address and connection data are processed through Unity’s multiplayer services, solely to establish and maintain the session. That processing is governed by Unity’s privacy policy.
Steam
Kharvalen is distributed on Steam. Platform data (your account and its settings) is handled by Valve Corporation under its own privacy policy. The game uses Steam for player identity in multiplayer features.
Saves and accounts
Your progress (Mithril, Forge, missions, records) is stored locally on your machine. The game has no accounts of its own, shows no ads and does not sell data to third parties.
This website
kharvalen.com uses no cookies, no analytics and no user accounts, and embeds no third-party resources (fonts are served from the site itself). The server keeps short-lived technical data (IP address, user agent) in its operational logs, used only for security and diagnostics.
Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area or another jurisdiction with equivalent rights (GDPR), you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability. You can exercise them by writing to the contact address, and telemetry can be switched off and deleted directly from the game (Settings → Privacy). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
Changes to this policy
Any change will be published on this page, updating the date in the header.
